The collaboration between the Municipality of Fyli and Korinthian Foods, regarding the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived Aid (FEAD), has increased from €7,558,439.17 to €10,464,462.55 euros. The amended agreement has been signed by the Mayor of Fyli, Mr. Christos Pappous and the President and CEO of Korinthian Foods, Mr. Ilias Kakogiannis, with the particilapation of the Deputy Mayor, Mr Giorgos Antonopoulos.

“One after another, the Municipality of Fyli breaks all records in the European food aid program FEAD, as in less than a year, the Municipality has secured another important emergency grant, raising the total budget of the program to 16,476,745 euros!
Specifically, the Municipality of Fylis, through the actions of its Mayor, Mr Christos Pappous, and the exemplary management of the Deputy Mayor of Social Policy, Mr Giorgos Antonopoulos, received a brave new emergency grant for the FEAD program, amounting to 3,196,625 euros, with a decision signed on March 2, 2023 by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mr Kostis Hatzidakis. This is the second emergency grant it has received in less than a year, as in June 2022 it had received an emergency grant of 8.5 million euros, more than doubling the budget of the program, which now stands at 16,476,745 euros.
