For the second consecutive year, Korinthian Foods had the honor of implementing, on behalf of the Managing Authority of the “Peloponnese” Operational Programme, the gastronomic event “Gastronomic Heritage of the Peloponnese” as part of EURegionsWeek 2025, which took place on October 14th at the iconic Venue Mont des Arts in Brussels.
Once again, the Region of Peloponnese placed its trust in Korinthian Foods, which, thanks to its expertise and long-standing experience, ensures the seamless organization of demanding events, consistently and professionally showcasing the culinary identity of the Peloponnese.
The Peloponnese, one of the most historic and multifaceted regions of Greece, is renowned not only for its rich history and cultural landmarks but also for its unique gastronomic tradition.
Traditional Peloponnesian cuisine is defined by simplicity, freshness, and intensity of flavor, with pure olive oil, fresh vegetables, wild greens, and aromatic herbs at its core, while meat and dairy products form an integral part of the local diet.
Guests at the event had the opportunity to enjoy high-quality Peloponnesian products, through Korinthian Foods’ creations that skillfully combined tradition with contemporary culinary techniques.
The company’s team presented authentic flavors and recipes inspired by the agri-food heritage and history of the Peloponnese, leaving a lasting impression on the European audience.
The event highlighted the connection between culture, tradition, and gastronomy, positioning the Peloponnese as a true ambassador of Greek cuisine in Europe.
The presence of distinguished guests, including the Regional Governor of Peloponnese, Mr. Dimitris Ptochos, and the Head of the Managing Authority of the “Peloponnese” Programme, Mr. Antonis Psarakis, emphasized the Region’s commitment to promoting its agri-food wealth and strengthening the link between the past, present, and future of Greek gastronomy.
